What's the minimum ingredients for a Chi Dog and still considered authentic?

>> No.15134230

Mustard, relish, white onion, sport peppers, pickle is the bare minimum. Add tomato and celery salt if need be (depends on the place).

Mustard, green relish, onions, sport peppers.
Gene & Judes is both minimalist and undeniably a Chicago dog.

I like a good 'go 'og, almost as much as I like 'natti 'ili and 'phis 'getti.

Isn't the pickle a bit much? Wouldn't it dominate the whole thing? There's already relish anyway.

hotdog, bun.

Or do you mean the ingredients in the hotdog? Mostly snout, some assholes, filler, various toxic industrial chemicals to prevent bacterial growth.
