Theyre hardwired directly into the ignition so you cant really disable it since it has a HD that monitors activity as well as power interrupts. The new ones have cameras on them which activate on a blow and someone besides you blowing if a violation. Oh and after like 30 minutes you have to blow again or else it pulses the horn and flashes the lights until you do. Depending on your restrictions, you might even have a zero tolerance clause meaning mouthwash and even wine used in cooking is a big no no. Dont drink and drive.

Maybe. I had probation for drug posession as a minor and they slapped me with breathalyzers, zero tolerance. I was told even cough syrup could set it off, well I thought that was bullshit, wanted to test it (I thought they were just saying that so I didnt try to cheat them by actually drinking the whole bottle to trip) and sure enough, I knew I had a test coming up, took a shot of NyQuil and it blew numbers, I had a very pissed off butch woman glaring at me while we waited a bit to see if it was gong to drop at the proper rate of speed for her to believe me.

you absolutely 1000% can blow a detectable amount the next day, and it doesn't take all that much to do so either. I've done it, but my program in Illinois had a range of different cutoff points and, while bad-blows were supposedly tracked by the software, there was a certain amount of grace I had, I think it wouldn't start the car without a blow below .02, and three failed blows in a row would lock the engine, stuff like that. Don't fuck around, first-offenses is the lightest you'll ever get off.

Give yourself approximately one hour per standard drink to recover. But it's only approximate so give yourself another couple of hours to be sure.
