Yeah, it's depressing at this point, but there are three locations on my 20 minute commute, and nothing else I'm willing to eat and/or pay for within 10 minutes out of my way. I don't believe in boycotting shit (except for Nestlé; fuck Nestlé), so sometimes you just take the hit and move on with your life. Vodka makes most things palatable.

Thanksgiving is the one time of year where the whole family gets together, and seeing the few people I like kind of weighs out with having to be around all the people I can't stand, and the food is always terrible because the aunts who organize it every year are scared of doing anything that isn't "tradition", so it's all the same garbage we've been eating since the 60's. At least most people bring a nice bottle of wine, champagne, some new local beer or coffee from wherever they currently live, with maybe some pastries or something nice to snack on while we wait around getting shitfaced before the always underwhelming dinner.
