Does anyone else dislike Thanksgiving food? Turkey is pleb tier meat and everything else is slop. The day itself is just waiting around for hours while the women preparing the food are irritable and bitchy. The only thing to do is watch zogball on TV. I'm not sure why anyone enjoys it.

That's why I prepare all the food single handedly. I can control menu, the quality, and I don't have to interact with anyone except all the wives that are generally marveling at my ability to do the whole thing by myself, talking about how lucky my wife is and soaking their pantys. I prefer to it with a small amount of people and a massive amount of food but when a full family Thanksgiving is inevitable, I annex the kitchen like Poland in the 30's.

I love stuffing with turkey gravy but I can skip the rest and this year I will be doing just that. I've lost a lot of weight over the past 6 months and will continue to do so through the holidays. Big holiday meals and desserts have been my undoing in years past. Not this time

I think a lot of people get a bad impression because not all the food is made well and carefully and from scratch usually. I make all the food, basically our entire family dinner, ahead of time. So it is heat and serve, no tussling in the kitchen.

This. My mom makes cranberry sauce and corn pudding, but I make the rest. Its 40-50 hours of work to put together a full dinner making your own stocks and multiple desserts.

Most people suck at cooking and barely put in effort. My family GOBBLES down my food because I put a lot of work into it and I am careful about which ingredients I use and how I prepare them.
