Hello Mr duck. I have a good bread recipe for you. This is cheap dish, and good for leftover bread. Any bread should be fine, but works best with those plain white loafs made in factories.

Cut up your bread into small squares, or bite sized. Get some eggs, crack them into a bowl and whisk it, add some salt and pepper while you whisk it. Then you want to dump all your cut up bread into the egg mixture. Let the bread completely soak up all the egg. Then you are gonna grab a big pan or wok if you have one, dump it all in, and you are gonna toast the bread. The egg will get cooked into the bread and make it look yellowish. Add your seasonings of choice while you toast the bread, personally I like to add some cayenne, chili's, green and red bell peppers sliced thinly. It's simple and tastes pretty good. I'm sure it has a lot of room for improvement, but it's my poor man's dish that I love.
