If it contains perishable ingredients like eggs or milk then it goes in the fridge, otherwise it doesn't.

Anything opened goes in the fridge, you're going to extend the shelf life more or less with no exceptions

I don't like ketchup in general but cold ketchup absolutely ruins anything it touches

>> No.15108678

Came here to say the opposite. Cold ketchup on hot fries and other things is great. Some condiments just need to be chilled depending on preference. Otherwise, if it's not going to spoil keep it out of the fridge to save space if you need it.

I actually really enjoy room temperature ketchup on hot fries.

Most hot sauce. Contains enough vinegar that it doesn't need to be refrigerated.

Well for instance McDonald's used to have ketchup pumps which were open to general usage. However due to sanitation reasons they were removed. The ketchup that was contained within the pumps was very good with their hot fries, I thought so anyway.

Yes.

Soy sauces also do not require refrigeration. Nor does miso.

things that are completely unaffected by room temp don't say it, some are fine but mostly it depends on temperature where you are, of course if you're somewhere like siberia almost everything could be left out since you basically live in a fridge

>things that are completely unaffected by room temp don't say it
Find a condiment that doesn't. My soy sauce says to keep in a fridge.
