Blanton's is still excellent but the hype and price hike is insane. I got a bottle for $60 and a store select barrel for $75. I've seen places selling it for $90-$120 which is insane. ER still sits at $24 where I am. Great for that price.

Liquor store employee here, the ones stealing your Eagle Rare are old retired faggots called "bourbon hunter's" that coordinate in groups of dozens to track trucks and learn who gets rare bourbon and when it goes up for sale so they can take it all for themselves. They are cunts and show up hours before a store opens to ensure they can shut out anyone else after a bottle.
