I'm glad I got a few of these at WinCo foods last time I was there. It was $1.20 for the can! I can't wait to put some in my coffee tomorrow morning.

How would you go about to caramelizing Sweden condensed milk?

>> No.15091618

Why would you buy condensed milk in a can? When the fuck do you ever need a whole can of condensed milk, outside of very niche baking applications?

If you're buying for coffee surely just buy the squeezy kind.

It is very cheap to buy sweetened condensed milk in a can as you can see the original poster purchased his can of sweetened condensed milk for $1.20

When talking about such paltry sums of money I would argue that the convenience of the squeezy format is worth the additional investiture

literally every recipe that included condensed milk recipe i've ever seen in my life has required a whole can.
unironically asking, what are some recipes that only require a smidge of condensed milk?

Vietnamese coffee, unless you're having it like they do in Vietnam where it's half-coffee/half-condensed milk.

well i meant more like a recipe for solid food. i know you can put it in beverages to sweeten them.
still, pretty impressive that this bitch managed to write a 5000 word article on putting condensed milk in your coffee. i guess it worked, since the google algorithm is putting her in first place now.

I just put a can cover on it and throw it in the fridge. Take out, spoon a dollop in my coffee, lid on, back in the fridge. No mess with milk that goes bad. Great with other things. Mix with coco powder, pour on ice cream. Mix with powdered sugar and a bit of water, icing. Boil in the can for 2 hours, cool for 1 hour, caramel. Very versatile.
