Cabbage, very nice for salad, makes a nice soup and is great pickled, also great stuffed with rice and minced meat. Really like the crunchiness when it is raw

For me, it's ghost broccoli.

I am doing a cabbage juice fast. 2 heads of cabbage everyday. It's fun, enjoying the ritual of cutting the heads into the shape and size of my juicer's feed hole. Might try red cabbage next.

Is it giving you any stomach problems? I remember eating cabbage soup two days in a row and I was going to the toilet once every half hour.

No issues yet. Though this is only day 1, just about 1 litre per day. The big difference between cabbage soup and cabbage juice is the latter contains zero fibre. Maybe the fibre was triggering bowel activity by feeding gut bacteria?

For me it's Jerusalem artichokes

An old Champion Juicer, gone through a set of replacement parts already. After juicing one cabbage head, there is some warmth, not hot, but definitely not cold press juicing here. But that mild warming at the end of a juicing will have almost no effect on the nutrients. The heat comes from the auger mechanism, and it also generates some foam as well. For the 1st cabbage head yield I skimmed the foam off. For the second, I just drank through a straw.

These are men of fine taste. The first real non-dessert dish I learned how to make was a roasted cauliflower dish with nuts. I'm making a pureed/creme of cauliflower soup before thanksgiving.

Broccoli or brussel sprouts. If I could only have one until I die...brussel sprouts. As long as they were free, they're a bit too expensive to buy continually.
