im still normal and and had had a pan for which nothing stuck until last year, it lasted over 7 years of onon stop frying on high open flame heat
it even had the red ring thing that glows which i forgot existed becauye it probably was burned off
only time i could smell some bad heated chemical thing was when i let it heat up for lard to quickly melt but forgot it for over a minute, and i use propane for cooking, never the stove heat plate thing to save electricity
the pan was good, still is but i sent it to the backyard outdoor versatile stove/grill because i bought a new one

But, Althought it provided me with whatever i asked it to do, the pan never put soul in the food i made
Unlike my grandmas dented, twisted, bare steel pan without a handle with traces of black layer of something thta might be paint or teflon but the pan says its made in Yugoslavia and grandma says she got it as a gift for the wedding (family and friends showered the couple with gifts so they dont have to buy anything for their new home back in the day)
that was either in the 50s or mid 60s
the pancakes, the eggs and bacon, even french toast, the simplest of things baked on that pan had soul i can only remeber when i was little and dirty from playing in the forest too long tired and hungry
i cant recreate the curcimstanes or the food at all, no matter how hard i try
its about how you cook, not on what oyu cook, who you cook for and happy you are about yourself
