Hello. Europoor here, a friend requested that I make some Nashville hot chicken for his birthday however hot sauce options are a bit limited over here, I can get Frank's red hot sauce and tabasco for sure, do those work?

Thanks in advance

either are suitable
alternatively you can make your own

I don't think the kind of hot sauce matters too much. Franks is to hot sauce what smirnoff is to vodka so I would go with something different if you have the option. Tabasco is a decent hot sauce. I would recommend louisiana style if you can find it, I've introduced several people to it and everyone loves it.

I don't think Nashville hot chicken actually uses hot sauce. They just put a ton of cayenne in fry oil and dip the fried chicken in it.

I meant the brand, I assumed that was implied.

Yeah, use Tabasco then because Frank's is more like a Buffalo sauce for chicken wings. Tabasco is Louisiana style hot sauce.

Your friends gonna be disappointed. Also you better make it hot and not like the joke KFC has.
