I worked Wendy's night shift 7PM-3AM when I was 18. I started working there when I was 17 and was unable to legally work the night shift. When I turned 18 they immediately scheduled me for night shift. I'm talking like the next day they shot me a text letting me know.
I lasted about two months after that. Absolutely the shittiest job I ever had. The fucked up sleep schedule alone isn't worth it. You couldn't pay me to do that job now.

I have a friend who works there in the UK and it's just £1 extra for night shifts there. I don't think legally they even have to give you anything extra. He ends up doing loads of them though because the manager hates him apparently and will schedule him ridiculous times to fuck with him, like a 12 hour shift overnight and then another one two hours later in the day. Then he goes to the other manager and gets it fixed.
