Ketchup is great for covering up shitty tasting food. I spent far too many years eating my mom’s black eyed peas with copious amounts of ketchup every New Years because she didn’t to mix bacon in with it to make them taste good.

I remember reading that America's Test Kitchen did a ketchup comparison test and their testers liked Heinz Organic the best. Which I agree with. Tastes just like you expect Heinz ketchup to but the ingredients are significantly better than other ketchups.

Funnily enough this and the no-salt kinds were the only ketchups we could keep in stock during the great food shortage in March/April. It’s good but people wouldn’t buy it even in desperation.

Ketchup fucking blows, anon, you can't taste anything but ketchup when you eat it.

I put it on cheeseburgers to balance out the richness a little but that's literally the only fucking food. Other than that I use it as an ingredient if I'm going to make a BBQ sauce or whatever.
