Sup /ck/ im unemployed due to covid and planning on using the opportunity to start a small food business in Nevada US. It would be only pic related to start and it will be frying Braziliian type foods, any tips and suggestions?

Is there a lot of brazilians in your area? where do you plan on hanging out? If you're just frying stuff then you get the oil to temperature then time how long it's in - pretty foolproof. Preparing empanada fillings is more mixing than it is cooking, you just gotta make sure your meat is cooked then chop it up small. You could fry yuca fries pretty easily and serve them with a signature sauce, an aioli or something. Fried hot dogs or chorizo is easy enough, you could have choripan with some bread and chimichurri

Learn the paperwork side, and make friends with the retards/mexicans/junkies (that order) in your area. Pay yourself top scale to be head "chef", until you find a complacent mexican or the king of retards to cook while you do paperwork. If someone seems like they're even just LARPING as a druggie, don't let them work without a you or a valiant retard on shift.

not many Brazilians no, but i think americans arent picky about food as long as it is good. I would sell in some busy locations sidewalks or where my license allows, preferably during the day if the weather is good otherwise at night

How exactly are you going to sell this food?

I've been around Nevada, mostly in LV but some Reno and a bit of time elsewhere, and it is nothing but WIDE OPEN SPACES. People aren't going to drop by your house unless you have one fucking fantastic pastry. You aren't going to be driving up and down the Strip selling fried food out of your trunk. There aren't any major business centers where you can set up a food stand.

You need more of a plan than "I'm going to fry . . . something . . . and business."

You either have a fixed-location storefront, which is EXPENSIVE AS FUCK to set up and requires licensing and inspections, or you have a fly-by-night operation selling out of your car, which isn't going to make you jack shit with half the state in lockdowns.
