What's the cause of it? I recently learned that a genetic defect called "essential tremor" runs in my family and I inherited it from my mother. Thanks, Mom. It's a dominant, so any kids I have will have a 50% chance of getting it.

Seems to vary day to day as to how bad it is. Today it's worse than yesterday. There's no medication available to treat it; it requires "gamma knife surgery" to fry parts of your brain, and that's only done when it's so bad that you otherwise can't function any more.
