Hey /ck/
I've only just recently started cooking regularly, i used to make stuff when i felt like it but never regularly, I mostly only eat ready meals, instant noodles and cheap takeaway.

I've been making some Eggs with skinless sausages (or bacon) with a side of bread with cream cheese and chasing it down with orange juice. It's been really great and it's probably my favorite breakfast and it's only $1.15 per meal which is even cheaper than the $2 per ready meal which is great.

But i need variety, i can only switch between the above and Porridge and ready meals for so long before it gets really depressing.

So, what can a lazy person who doesn't care about cooking make when all they have at their disposal is one small skillet, something really cheap?
Something that's a simple traditional meal with meat main and a simple side?

Something not asian, without rice preferably. I mostly like Italian, American and Russian cuisines.
What about non-breakfast meals? Can you make tacos on the cheap in a pan? What about a burrito?

It looks pretty complicated and time consuming, i also don't have a mixing bowl

>Can you make tacos on the cheap in a pan?
Crumble your skinless sausage in the pan with some spices. Cumin in particular is what makes everything taste like taco. Serve in a small corn tortilla (cook tortilla on the pan for a second first)

>What about a burrito?
same as above but large flour tortilla.

It's not. Just grab a chunk of ground beef and add directly to a pan. Flatten to desired thickness and add salt and pepper. Done. No mixing bowl needed.

Fair enough, but most every recipe i see says i should be mixing the beef with other things like onion and that otherwise it won't taste great hence why i thought i need a mixing bowl like >>15025278 said

And where did I say "the thought of putting some meat in a pan is exhausting"?
And how does that make any sense if in OP I said that's literally already what I do?
After that poster said "just eat cheeseburgers" I googled Cheeseburger recipe, I clicked on the first few results and all of them involving mixing in a mixing bowl.
I've never "mixed" food and have no idea what that entails and whether or not it can be done with or without a mixing bowl, I'm not an expert, and I beyond don't care about expending the tiniest amount of brainpower necessary to hazard a guess. I have no idea how and if a mixing bowl is or is not different from a regular bowl, and if I can mix in the pan, on a plate, on a piece of A4 paper, tissue, your mom, etc.
I'm not a chef, I don't run a restaurant and I don't cook out of any interest in wasting too much time doing so, if the step on the step-by-step guide i will follow when preparing the meal involving possessing a mixing bowl and using it can be side-stepped, that's fine, as I have no objection to the remaining steps.
>hurr stupid
You've never even pointed out what it is that I said that you think is stupid, instead limiting your posts to quoting some imaginary boogeyman

Dice some onion and tomato. Shred some lettuce or spinach.
You might also add olives or bell pepper if you're feeling frisky.
There's more room to work with in a burrito so feel free to fill it up with beans, either whole or refried mush.

If you're opposed to rice, look at pic related. Dehydrated hashbrowns are trivial. I know you won't eat the whole box at once, but once rehydrated and drained (15 minutes), you can store the rest in the fridge for a day or 3 until you're ready to have more hashbrowns.

You should also invest $34 in 2 more pans (2 or 3 quart saucepan, larger frypan) and a few leftover containers (which can double as a mixing bowl).

Cornbread is a nice skillet dish as long as your skillet is oven safe. Fast, simple, versatile

Can have it as a dessert or as something to go with a main course

Since you like Italian you need at least one large pot and a saucepan.

If you don't know what to do you can search "pasta with (whatever you have available) " and should find a recipe

Holy fucking shit nigger do you think a "mixing bowl" is some kitchen appliance you plug in? Do you think "mixing" is some high tech process? I'm in stitches if this isn't bait.

You put the meat in a plain fucking bowl and squish it with your bare fist while you add shit like onion and pepper, holy absolute christ no wonder people think you're retarded. Hooooly fuck anon how did you make it this far?

sunny-side up eggs with freshly baked bread is more addictive than crack. just hit it with salt and pepper once the egg white is cooked through and enjoy. PROTIP: fry some spring onions before cracking in the eggs for some pockets of caramelized goodnessss

the real problem this whole time is that fucking eggs breadcrumbs and onions dont belong in burgers, thats a fucking meatloaf. A burger is just ground beef shaped into a patty. The easiest way is to wrap a ball of beef it in saran and smash it into a patty or put a ball of beef into a pan and smash it into a patty
>you dont need a fucking bowl
>OP only has a masters in being retarded
