What do you co/ck/suckers think about dijon on sandwiches and burgers? Is it based?

>> No.15005267

Not necessarily moreso than other mustards, but sure, mustard is nice

That was the only valid mustard we had for a while before other brands started emulating American style mustard (like honey-mustard which I quite like with fries).
It is a valid choices for both sandwiches and hamburgers. Be careful because it can be a bit strong.
Goes well with pretty much everything

Overbearing, try Düsseldorf style instead

dijon might be too rough for a sammich.
whole grain would go better.
nuclear hotdog mustard is for stoner sammichs only (read bologna).

GP is really quite good and tastes better to me than regular yellow mustard. It’s great on hot dogs and sandwiches

It’s alright but the “spice” of it gets old sometimes, I prefer this, nice mellow white wine-backed taste with a really good texture, cheap too.

I LOVE this stuff. I buy it in a 6 pack from Amazon because I could only find the small jars around here.

>on sandwiches and burgers
it has many other uses

such as me eating it with a spoon when I open my fridge and can't decide what to eat

This
I like a mild mustard on burgers but for ham and other coldcuts it's gotta be dijon.

I know it's great with these things:
-chicken/mayo mix
-scrambled eggs
-frittata
-beef stroganoff
-slathered onto steak
-dijon dressing

honestly, the dijon I buy is mostly eaten from the jar in spoonfuls
