my cast iron frying pan is rusting. I've let food sit in it. think it's good to eat out of?

Clean it with mild dish soap and steel wool. It’ll be okay

huge giant african cocks, thrusting in and out of my anus, all day every day until i die of aids

No. Have at it with Bar Keeper's Friend, steel wool, and scrub it until it shines. Rub it all down with canola, bake at 425-450F for 90 minutes and then let it cool. Congrats, you saved and re-seasoned it. After each use, clean with soap and a silicon brush, then re-apply a thin coating of oil.

No, scrap it and get one of those non toxic no stick pans from the TV commercials.

Use some barkeepers friend on it, that'll fix it right up, maybe some sandblasting if it's really bad, then just reseason it. A good cast iron pan is pretty reslilant and should last multiple lifetimes.

I left mine full of water, grease and a bunch of shit for months. Thanks depression. And scrubbed it off by doing the following and its back to perfect working order.

>canola
Lard or flax seed oil are better

>> No.14982719

>>14982286
In my experience, grapeseed oil is best. Flax leaves a bit of stickiness.

scrub it a little bit then cook something greasy in it. hashbrowns or some shit idk. you're good man this isn't rocket science

You do you, homeboys. Canola is perfectly fine.

negligibly if that. I mean I do like to use lard/bacongrease in a skillet and whatever you cook with regularly helps build it, but canola or most other high-smoke-point refined oils are pretty interchangeable and I can't imagine anyone keeping flaxseed onhand before canola. It's ABSOLUTELY not worth going out of your way for.

happy to see that loser put in his place, oxalic acid is tremendously useful.

>> No.14984186

>>14981701
Use baking soda paste, let it sit a couple minutes and it'll wash off. Then oil it after it's dry . It's fine.

No. Buy stainless steel and never have to put up with the result of your laziness again.

Bro you cook them in the bacon fat after frying that in your cast iron. Then you sop up the remainder and toast your bread in it and make a sandwitche.

You can cook bacon in a steel pan too you pole smoker.
