14 days of egg dishes. It'll force you to practice the basics and eggs are cheap. Then move onto basic proteins like chicken.

14 days? And you don't know how to cook? There's levels to this shit senpai. Learn how to cook then prepare meals for 3-4 days, then 7 days. 2 weeks is alot. Definitely going to need alot of freezer space.

to cook rice: bring 1 1/2 cups of water and a cup of rice to a boil. You can add butter and salt if you want but you don't have to. Once it is boiling, turn the heat down to low the (1-2 mark on the dial) and cover it. Leave it to simmer for fifteen minutes, undisturbed. Remove the pot from the stove and continue to leave it undisturbed for 10 more minutes. Stir and serve.
a 14 day menu plan should include leftovers. Day one: chili, corn niblets, and a salad. Day two: Burritos made from leftover chili and corn, add other things you like. Day three: sauteed chicken, rice, and broccoli. Day four: leftover chicken and rice made into soup with carrot salad and rolls. Day five: pork chops smothered with apples and onions, green beans, and steamed cauliflower. Day six: bbq porkchop (from leftovers) sandwiches with mashed sweet potatoes and corn. Day seven: Ham steak, broccoli, and rice. Day eight: Use leftover ham to make a cobb salad. Day nine: Vegeable Soup with bough blueberry muffins. Day Ten: Shrimp and Grits with a green salad. Day eleven:Swedish Meatballs with cheese grits and carrots. Day twelve: BBQ Meatballs (reserve some with out the swedish meatball sauce for this day), smothered squash, and Green beans. Day thirteen:Pinto beans and rice, with Broccoli, Day fourteen: leftover Pinto Bean Toastados with corn and cauliflower.

>> No.14979184

Cheap cuts of meat, cooked slowly (I'm talking 2-3 hours). Chicken thighs, stewing beef, mutton, neck end of lamb. If you can get chicken thighs with the bones left in, more flavour, and after a couple of hours slow cooking the meat falls off. If you're a hunter, get some free game in the pot - rabbit, hare, venison. Pad it out with pulses - beans, lentils etc. If you can afford a bottle of cheap red wine, anything stewed slowly in wine tastes good.

Basic stew recipe, brown the meat for a few minutes in hot oil. Take it out and set aside in a bowl. Fry onions, carrots, celery, fennel if you can get it, garlic, peppers (capsicums), chilli if you want heat, once the onion's translucent throw the meat and all the juices back in, add stock/wine, put a lid on, turn the heat right down, give it two hours. Tweak the flavours by adding spices, mushrooms, seasoning, herbs.
