>literally, figuratively, unironically tastes like NOTHING

why do people complain about bay leaves when this exists?

>> No.14974175

Because enough people use bayleafs to complain about them. Literally no one uses this shit. Parsley grows like a weed, you can steal it fresh if you look around.

Only the most disgusting leftist Biden voting pedophile would use dried parsley.

Honestly I feel a bit ill. Might lie down for a moment and vote TRUMP again.

It's for clear soups. That's all I ever use it for.

Where do people stand on the Italian vs curly parsley debate? Italian seems to have taken over but I think that's just snobbery, curly would have more flavour back in the day.

Curly, because that's the more traditional one here.

Yesterday me and my friends watched an Anglo little girl get her hand stuck in a car door. She was 6 or so. We just laughed, she couldn't unlock the door and her parents were both away. Got selfies with her and everything.

We are replacing you, and there's nothing you can do about it either. Inshallah.

I grow parsley, and not only does fresh homegrown parsley have a flavor, it's so intense I actually use far less of it than most recipes call for, otherwise it overpowers everything. It's probably the single herb I would recommend everyone buy fresh just because of how profound the difference is.

It has a very gentle earthy flavor, but mainly it's just used for color contrast like most garnishes. Fresh parsley has a more pronounced flavor and if added last, the bright green color remains quite vivid.
