I do this all the time

I use it to chase vodka, or sometimes if I'm hungover I use it as a non-working hangover cure. Only dill. Yes it is bad for your stomach and guts.

You might be low on electrolytes making you desire it. I love pickles but never drink the brine. I've heard it can be a decent marinade though.

>decent marinade
unbelievable based to bring up. Yes is the answer.

Drinking salt water is degeneracy. It has its purposes in cooking, egg salad, deviled eggs and such. You might as well drink it for hangovers.. it just makes you throw up.

Why do all alcoholics go crazy over pickle juice

Sometimes just the effort is enough to get you going, but I also like the flavor so I still win. Everyone knows that time + water is the only real cure, although that raw egg + Worchester sauce+ cayenne trick does keep me ok for about an hour.

Fair enough, I just can't do that to myself anymore. I still drink, (probably too much) just not spirits. Have you thought about changing to cannabis?

That's crazy you said that, my man. I actually didn't care for it, but my father went on a trip to where it was legal to buy cannabis. He came back with like ~1700mg of THC spread about in edibles and gave them to me as a gift. I ate them, and that entire time I had them I never ONCE thought about drinking. Once I ran out I felt pretty bummed, and different in general since the use, but my general health felt pretty amazing. I know I'm an addict at this point beyond all hell, but if I could switch to cannabis I would in a heart beat now. Then again, if I could reliably be beat clean sober without it hindering my employment I'd choose that too.

you can put it in dressings and sauces too in place of vinegar, pickle juice is basically just spiced vinegar

This is what chick fil a does to their chicken. I suggest marinating chicken in pickle brine to anyone before a fry, tasty game changer.

That's funny you mentioned your father buying you edibles. I just got some cake off a mate to give to my dad. We found out he has stage 4 cancer so nothing really matters anymore. and he's keen to try some again.

Sorry to hear your job/state/country doesn't allow you to smoke. I hope the referendum comes your way soon.

I don't do it personally but I don't think it's weird. Pickle juice basically an electrolyte drink but ya know is pickled flavored.. I use it in cooking often though.
