Your heating element has most of its energy concentrated in the middle. That means that the middle of your pot will boil more vigorously than the rest of the pot.

Because of this, you'll have streams of bubbles in the middle. As the liquid dries up and the rice compacts, the channels through which these bubbles rose will remain. And those are the holes you see once your rice is complete
