Worst one.

It doesn't taste good. For me, one of the shittyest bourbons available, thought not the absolute worst. It's just what the brand let's it be: The most well-known budget bourbon that is assosiated with motorbikes, tattoos, rock n roll, and something that vanished a long time ago, leaving behind just a sad representation of the core values in what people concidered ''quality'' in those days.

If you think this swill tastes good, wait until you try $50+ Irish whiskey. You'll blow your little peanut brain apart.

That's the thing, it's not bourbon. They say they make it just like bourbon but it's well known they use previously used aging barrels, usually purchased from bourbon distilleries. Having said that, all the best songs are about Jack, and I hate it.

Not my cup of tea. Buffalo Trace or Wild Turkey are better imo.

it doesnt, it tastes awful, 12 dollar handles of store brand canadian whiskey is better

Try a better bourbon.
Also if you're new to bourbon and it's 100 proof, add a spoonful or two of cool water. It opens up the flavor and makes it less spicy.
Good bourbons under $30
>Old Tub
>Wild Turkey 101
>Evan Williams bonded
>Old Grand Dad Bonded
and many others.
Bourbon is my favorite spirit, there's so much depth to it and the effects are very pleasant and don't make you drowsy like other spirits

I like a jack and coke for nostalgia purposes, but its kind of its own thing. More SoCo than real whiskery.

Oh it's storebought Jack Daniels sauce. I think the brand is called TGI Fridays.
I used to love to add it to sloppy joes and mix it all up with rice.
I bet a proper homecooked Jack Daniels sauce would be delicious

this. you can get almost 3 bottles of Evan Williams Black Label even, and for the price of one bottle of Jack from the average convenience stor. My sister drinks Jack and we switched bottles a couple times last night and she liked the $10 Henry McKenna Sour Mash Bourbon better. To me Jack is so very watery tasting and at only 40 abv it should be a crime to sell it over $7

Bourbon can be nice but praising it for depth above other things is at least misleading if nothing else. Bourbon is by law very limited in what it's made of and how it's made so the amount of depth is very limited compared to other whiskies for example. Not to say there isn't any depth but it's a strange quality to highlight.

My only memories of it from when I still drank primarily whiskey/scotch was that it tastes too watered-down to be a good whiskey

when you take drugs your brain likes it and rewards you. eventually you "develop a taste" for it and think that you like it.

No, cocaine always tastes like shit on the backwash no matter how much you take.
