fettuccine alfredo with chicken is probably my favorite. your pic is pretty great too though, pasta with tomato sauce is boring but add ricotta and it's so much better.

I use rigatoni almost all the time now. Just did a bolognese with too much beef. The rigatoni absorbed everything. It truly is the perfect shape.

Throwing together random ingredients made me find my current fav pasta dish:

>fry guanciale/bacon if oyu cant find any
>fry chopped red onions and garlic with the meat
>throw in a big spoonful of pesto and some pasta water to make the meat/onions/garlic/pesto into a sort-of sauce
>add pasta and mix
>top with parmesan

the best shit, can be freestyled as well with whatever you have around, I add fresh tomatoes and chopped habanero often, green asparagus when it's in season, leaving out the guanciale/bacon works as well
