Has /ck/ ever enjoyed a butter sandwich?

>> No.14888966

No, but sometimes I make cucumber sandwiches with butter. I think my grandmother used to make PBJs and PB & honey sandwiches with butter on them. They were really good, but I always thought they were way too rich.

Yup. I love butter. I eat whole spoonfuls of the stuff. Kerrygold being the crème de la crème

Of course, but only open faced like a civilized person should. Us sophisticated types call it "buttered toast".

One of my favorite snacks as a kid was peanut butter and butter sandwiches. 1:2 ratio of butter to pb, and a couple cracks of salt for good measure.

Still do it sometimes to this day.

That little pat just really pushes it to the next level

This is totally a meme at Persian restaurants with lavash. Add a slice of onion, too.

you ever take a brown sugar pop tart out of the toaster, flip it over to the non frosted side and just put a big fat smear of salted butter on it before you shove it down your food hole?

it's pretty good.

I put butter on a grilled chicken sandwich, along with mozzarella, mayo and ketchup. It was so incredibly good that I ate it for a month straight. I now stay far away from the combination. It's too delicious

I grew up in the south, so yes, but we never used that much butter. It was just a way to eat some buttered bread on the go.

>> No.14892565

>>14888966
I can almost guarantee that your grandmother buttered the bread for the sandwiches she made. Our grandparents were smart enough to know that a thin layer of oil between wet ingredients and bread would keep the bread from getting soggy as quickly.
Plus, it's butter. It tastes good.
