It takes bare minimum of 8 years reach any kind of maturity to make butchering worth the effort, during that time a human will eat many multiple times as much food as a pig, which will still be several times the weight of the 8 year old.
That kind of agriculture inefficiency could only be produced by a planned economy, and is why socialists will always fail, they can't understand that pigs are a much better long term investment than humans.
