Got hammered on a 30 rack of these alone in Charleston, WV in a shitty hotel I stopped at while driving home after an awful weekend at a wedding I hate a terrible time at. Got one of those Pizza Hut box things with pasta, a medium pizza, and bread sticks in between. Fucking hell that was a long, lonely, depressing, gray and rainy night.

It's a dump, it just happens to be halfway between where I was going and where I was coming from. I've literally been to the Red Roof Inn right off the highway 5-8 times throughout the years. Whether traveling for pleasure, weddings, etc... I tend to end up in Charleston. It's really bizarre. But yea, not a lot there... Driving through WV is fun though. Underrated state nature wise. Been through some sketchy ass areas off the beaten path going to hiking trails or just exploring back roads.

One of the few times I felt truly unwelcome and the hair on my neck stand up was in West Virginia going to visit a waterfall I had read about. Was driving past this little mobile home park on my right with a river on my left. Small little 1.5 lane back road. I could feel the eyes on me as I drove by. Decided to stop, and do like a 7 point Austin Powers style turn in the middle of the road making sure I didn't go on anyone's driveway and eat buckshot. I trust my gut in situations like that, and I was NOT welcome there. /rant
