Well, we don’t have the first one here in Connecticut so I guess Taco Bell wins for me by default. The only time I ever saw the second one was when I travel to Michigan for work. I liked them, they were good, definitely a step up. But since traveling isn’t really a thing anymore, I don’t know when I will have them next.

Del taco is way better. Not even close. TB was doing some interesting stuff at cheap prices for a while but now they've basically gone back to mixing up the meat/cheese/shape and calling it something new.

Plus they got rid of their best item-the cheesy potato burrito

I haven't tried Del Taco yet, but Taco Bell is still pretty good, even though they got rid of almost everything I used to order. Here's what I had a couple nights ago. I got a grande stacker box, added red sauce to the stacker, got both tacos soft fresco, one with rice and one with beans. Then I unrolled the stacker, added one taco, folded it over, added the other taco, and then folded it the rest of the way.

OP here everyone, just had Del Taco after my Taco Bell boycott.
I'm shocked that Del Taco is so cheap, but the food is so vastly different, I really prefer Taco Bell's meat. The fries are fucking amazing. Taco Salad was pretty good. But the tiny corn shell tacos for $1 are good, but it's like fancy dog food. they use a fuck ton of sauce to cover up the terrible meat. but they actually use onions and cilantro so it's fucking delicious.

truth be told, i still prefer taco bell, and now im sad that nothing can replace them.

Going in blind, I'd say Del Taco. You kind of have to have the inside scoop on Taco Bell to know what's actually good. Like their new promotion, this grande stacker? Anybody that knows Taco Bell knows that this is going to be a deflated, depressing, dogshit item that's like >60% tortilla. Their cheesey rollup, the cheese quesadilla, their basic bitch nachos, the mexican pizza etc. are all fucking garbage. Some of the value items are good, but it takes experience to find that niche whereas you can go into Del Taco and order cheap items and get some decent stuff.

TL:DR; TB did too much depressing shit to their menu to make it worth much of anything these days.

I haven't eaten at Del Taco since living in the Midwest. It was so-so from my memory.

>I experienced a two-day toilet adventure after eating there during my lunch break.
When I looked up their website I saw that locations only exist in Texas and a single restaurant in Utah nowadays. Looks like they also rebranded themselves a lot from their old marketing to a more Chipotle and Moe's knockoff.
