So!
Texas Roadhouse steak is bretty good. But their rolls... someone on this board said that his dad goes there specifically just for the rolls. I had the rolls. And when I tasted them, I instantly was reminded of the story about how the country of Ireland banned Subway bread for basically having candy levels of sugar in it. Subway bread tastes nowhere near this sweet. When I bite into a Texas Roadhouse roll, all I can think of is cotton candy. How does anyone swear by these as the go-to steakhouse roll? What is wrong with us Americans, as a people?

OP, they are soft pillows of very freshly baked bread, that already have a honey butter flavor right in them. So, I can see how cravable they would be for some people.

But unlike you, I don't have a problem with bread being slightly sweet, or not sweet at all. I like all bread and appreciate variety. If sugar in your food angers you, don't eat there. These rolls are a familiar old time recipe. I forget what it's called, but it's nearly a hawaiian bread.

This whole hysteric freak out about some bread being slightly sweet is really fucking stupid beyond belief.

You people are like women, but stupider.

Texas Roadhouse steak is way too salty. And their sides are disappointing. Longhorn Steakhouse is better all around.

I go there specifically because all the unemployed strippers from Covid work there now.
