For me, it's paccheri.

How do I get an even cook on bow tie pasta?
The middle is always under al dente but the ends are over al dente

>> No.14834214

I like the tiny shells because the pesto gets caught inside and its like a basil/garlic Starburst. Reminds me when I snuck into my sisters room and destroyed her clit with my tongue like it was the North Tower on 9/11.

It's too versatile not to love. I'd miss some wider verities and some hollow, longer pastas, but if I had to choose one, that would be my choice.

I can never get it perfectly right, no matter what I try. The edges are always soft and the center is always still hard. They're one of the least forkable pasta types, they don't grip sauce particularly well, etc. Is there any particular reason to prefer Farfalle? Is there a secret to cooking it which I'm missing?
