Poached egg goes great on medium-rare burgers and warm (but not hot) sandwiches.

I'd rather have it on the side so it doesn't break

I really love the flavor of egg yolk in certain foods. I say yes. Besides, eggs are just eggs they dont add much

>> No.14834064

Always when possible. Just make sure you pop it and let the buns soak up the yolk before biting in.

I thought it was a dumb hipster thing. Then one day I found myself with a bit too little ground beef to make a decent burger. Added an egg and some green Cholula because any combo of ketchup/mustered/mayo seemed wrong with egg. Anyway, it was fantastic.

People put mayonnaise on the burger, yes?
A fried egg is basically low-oil mayonnaise.

And to everyone else: a fried egg also boosts a sloppy joe.

Fried egg is like an avocado. If its part of the specialty burger the restaurant is known for its worth getting it. Its never worth paying extra for.

The world will be a better place when white people finally stop treating avocado like its worth a 2 dollar premium.

I love both, eggs and burgers.
But for me, the combination is a no. Egg on a burger is just so messy and it feels so nasty to eat. Every time I had it I felt like a fatass.

i'm okay with it. i prefer the yolk broken and cooked though so i don't have egg running down my arm and sogging out the bun.
