Stew, chili, bean soup, meat pies, get those plastic containers with compartments and a lid and roasted veggies plus a meat you don't mind cold or room temp. Boiled eggs. Fruit.

I buy whatever meat in on sale, usually pork and plan my meals around that.

This week London Broil and Round steak was on sale for $3.48/lb. So I marinaded the London Broil and broiled it and had it with rice and a salad. The 2nd day I made steak Sandwiches with au jus. 3rd day I used the last sub roll to make garlic bread and then made a sandwich with it with the last of the steak and put it on the electric Sandwich press and had a panini.

The round steak I cubed up and made a chili tonight.

not OP, but I could see it if you have a middle class job and don't have to pinch every penny
>morning stop for fancy coffee and grab a red bull for mid shift, get heat lamp breakfast sandwich at gas station
$10-15
>Fast food combo, or light fast casual meal for lunch
$10 avg
>Food delivery that seemed cheap at first, but after the jews nickle and dime you, that app and entree costed you
$25
Total = $45-50 and that doesn't even cover the cost of booze to cope with your soul crushing life

THIS!
Stew keeps about 3 days, but you can freeze leftovers for later as well and it reheats nicely.
Quality home-made stew is FUCKING DELICIOUS, relatively easy to make, and allows you to make days worth of food at a time for 1-2 people. It's also enjoyable as there's so much to experiment with it.
This is a good stew recipe: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-fieri/double-jack-stew-recipe-2012728

I literally live on beef stews. People at work always comment on my lunches "Why do you only eat that?" It's cheap as fuck to make and feeds me for a week. Not to mention it's fucking delicious and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
>Stewing beef
>Russet potatoes, cubed
>Onions, finely chopped
>Carrots, chopped
>Garlic, fresh minced
>Peas
>Sometimes I'll go crazy and throw in a can of corn

>Salt and pepper to taste while the I let the meat come to near room temperature for searing it
>Worcestershire sauce
>Beef stock (reduced salt)
>Olive oil for searing
>Jar of tomato sauce (You don't have to do this, I just think it makes it really hearty)
>Tomato paste
>Rosemary
>Onion soup mix (optional)
>Flour and water for thickening after it's cooked

I used to make this on Sunday nights and leave it overnight in the slow cooker. Mother in law got me an instant pot so now I use that. After the meats ready and I've chopped all the veggies up, I sear the meat in olive oil until it's all browned. Toss it in the pot with the prepped veggies, pour in the broth and add all the other shit in. Takes like an hour if you slow-release on the instant pot.
