One of my favourite preps of late
>40min rice, perfect texture and nice and sticky, all starch thoroughly rinsed away before cooking
>steamed brocc or snow peas
>chicken thigh, diced, fried in a skillet with ginger, chili flakes, pepper, salt or sprinkle of soy sauce
>serve it all over the rice with a drizzle of teriyaki or honey soy

Bonus:
couple scallies on the side for fun

>> No.14709335

>>14708705
>Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper and freshly ground cumin seeds
>Cook garlic, onion slivers until browned, add a pinch of salt, sugar, white wine and soy sauce
>Remove from the pan
>Sear chicken real fuggin good

>Rinse rice
>Toast it up
>Add in water, chicken bullion, and a garlic clove
>Simmer it and don't remove that fucking lid a single time

>Get some black/pinto beans and season them with garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, pepper

>Plate that bitch up with some cilantro and lime

Honestly one of the best things I can make. Never any leftovers, and its cheap as hell

Toss cubed chicken into the instant pot. Once it's done, sear it in a pan and reduce the juices from the pot into a gravy, then put it on a bed of rice. Comes out perfect every time.

https://www.recipetineats.com/oven-baked-chicken-and-rice/ I use a similar recipe to this. I will keep the skin on the thighs, I occasionally swap out the water for half oj and half tamari or soy sauce and use ginger miso broth from trader joes in place of the chicken stock.

Depends on the country of origin, I have some mexican style chicken and rice in the fridge rn

>dice onion, bellpepper, and garlic
>heat oil in pan
>toss in veggies and stirfry
>slice desired chicken part into strips and toss in as well, at least cook the outside, boil the rest of the way
>toss in dry rice (I used jasmine) and toast the rice (important step)
>pour a bunch of chicken broth in it and add desired seasonings
>used salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, goya sazonada, cayenne pepper
>add a can of Rotel and throw in sprigs of cilantro and strips of green onion
>throw a lid on and cook until the rice is done
>garnish with fresh avocado slices, maybe a lil sour cream if you're feeling particularly white today

Bone appetite

>> No.14715054

Season the thigh(s) with whatever you got that doesn't suck, leave on side for 15-30 mins. Dice garlic and onions. Sauteed said aromatics with oil of choice, apply thighs...anything that isn't thighs is geh. Seer both sides. Throw that cast iron into the oven and bake till completion. Take out and plate that fucker on a bed of rice. With remaining grease add flour and chicken broth to make gravy. Pour that shit over the thighs and rice. Get a gun kill yourself
