I need some good homemade lunch recommendations to bring to the office that are not "sandwich + chips". the time has finally come where i am sick of eating that classic combo every single day

I've been eating sandwiches at work for years now.
Got into making the bread myself late last year and since the fucking plague hit, it has turned into not just a hobby but also a bit of a necessity. But it's still fun.
So while my suggestion is just a sandwich, I'd recommend you make it yourself from scratch. Experiment, have fun.

idk the last one i had (over a week ago) so thoroughly disgusted me that i just bought my lunch all of last week. i've just had them too many times. hot sandwiches off the stovetop are a different story, but the cold deli style ones that i can bring to work dont seem to have too much flexibility, other than swapping meats and cheeses

Try out some rye bread. Or maybe make regular wheat bread but use buttermilk.
It may not seem like much but the constant little variety really does help.
Though yes, sometimes it might be better to take a breather for a week or two and eat something else.
Maybe go the sweet route and bake a pie?

Generally skip breakfast and lunch and just eat when I get home. Just sip on coffee n shit throughout the day. If I'm that hungry i'll go to whatever fastfood is near and buy something small like a McChicken but it's really rare that I do that.
