The photo is my actual sandwich . As you can see I only barely cooked it.
In america , there is a certain ethnic group that owns all the baconries and they have convinced us to cook out all the fat, flavor and calories before consuming it.
Once you eat a single bite of a BLT cooked how god intended, you will not fall for this trickery ever again.

Half the appeal is the texture of cooked bacon.
If I wanted to eat it raw, I would eat like, idk, prosciutto or something?

Ah but anon there is a sweet middle ground where bacon can have just a bit of crunch around the edges but have a very flavorful prosciutto like finish

>> No.14662479

The fuck you all on about calling it "undercooked bacon" and "bacon that isn't fully cooked" and "rare." It's just cooked bacon, you Americans overcook the fuck out of it. It's none rare bacon just because it's not literally burnt to a crisp.

>> No.14662481

I absolutely loathe crispy bacon, but a little bit of crispiness on the edges of an otherwise soft slice is fantastic. This is why I almost always buy thick-sliced bacon, you really have to try to overcook it.

uncooked pork, AKA death
europoors for some reason like eating purposefully undercooked and dangerous food to own the rest of the world because "it's more complex" and "you just wouldn't understand because of your unrefined palette"

anyway, enjoy your degenerative brain diseases, folks! Hope that slice of rubbery, undercooked bacon was worth it!

>Have you ever had a rare bacon blt?
why do idiots ask questions like this on 4chan? they act like they are the first person in the history of ever to do whatever it is they are doing.

yes dipshit, as far back as 1970 I have been eating bacon like that.

if I'm eating bacon on its own I enjoy it when it's still pliable and you can rip it along the fat/protein lines. for something like a BLT it should be extra crispy though.

if it's cured, that's one thing, but I've never run into someone who is a meat snob that doesn't brag about cutting their own meat fresh from some larger cut. And in that case, those types never cure it, it's just raw meat. Which they proceed to undercook because that's somehow "fancy" and better than just fully cooking your food like a normal person.

and then they're surprised when they have explosive diarrhea

In retrospect I do still get the appeal of crunchy bacon. But as a breakfast item, that just does nothing for me anymore (unless offered and I don't have to use my own).

Hard to tell without seeing the entire piece, but my bacon probably doesn't look too different from that. Just a bit of browning up on both sides, but still soft.

you can eat most raw beef or pork right out of the package too, modern cleanliness standards have improved a bit above john stonesmithsonson gutting his own pig behind his shack.
