14660687 No.14660687 [Reply] [Original]

Every morning for last 8 years I have a black coffee with only one teaspoon of sugar. No milk, cream, or anything else. I don't like other types of coffee, once I drank coffee with milk and I chucked up. Even with tea I don't add anything. I don't know how you guys drink coffee or tea with milk or anything else in it.

Anyway what's it say about me that I only drink black coffee? Most people hate it for some reason.

I drink black coffee because I got tired of trying to get the proportions right whenever I was using different creamers and all that. I realized about 7 years ago I like it just fine black. It's also a good zero calorie drink.

I find the bitter notes of coffee tend to become more pronounced as its other flavors become obscured by milk's sweetness. You need sugar to drown out the bitterness, at which point the coffee is just caffeinated food dye.

ausfag here, most people drink milk based coffees and it's more of a hipster thing to drink "black" coffee, cept it's not a long black/americano, it's usually espresso. i'd say it's fucking bizarre if you're drinking long blacks coz no one does that shit here, but if it's actual espresso you're just a regular run of the mill unique hipster like every other cunt, so sorry there's nothing particularly special about you. the sugar thing does make you a bit queer though.
