I like Pizza Hut pizza a bit better but live no where near one for 5years now, but Dominoes is officially 15 minutes round trip from my house, a nice scenic drive too, to pick it up myself. Their takeout specials are hard to beat, like some 2 for 1 on Tuesdays. I can order it online, and 100% of the time, by the time I get there, it's hot coming out of the oven and bagged in front of me, every time...with a smile and utter politeness no matter who is there, and they are busy as shit...always well done and perfectly cooked, nothing every forgotten.
I love some of the local mom n pop pizza nearby, and I will go to them for a great ample antipasti platter, or a couple dozen garlic knots and other goodies, but the quality is inconsistent, like a soggy middle crust, or something just wrong or missing. I still order from whomever I want per my mood, but sometimes you don't care about giving the little nephews more than cheap pizza, and not some gourmet extra large that is $25, hahaha. With dominoes just give them their own pies.

did you eat it 7 years ago? is this a comment on the decline in quality or the quality in general? I've never liked dominos very much so I was just wondering, I haven't had it in 2-3 years ish. Once I had to order it the day after a party when the stragglers were being picky about food and whined about wanting pizza don't remember if I really ate any. I remember their crust is pretty airy and the dough kinda trash overall. they cover it up by slathering the crust in cheese and garlic butter so you don't ever taste the dough by itself. the deep dish pizzas always had a bit of dough on top that you could scrape away and press/knead into a ball. wasn't quite uncooked but definitely undercooked. I don't like garlic butter crust so it kinda ruins hand tossed and deep dish is meh. I'd rather run by a gas station deli than order dominos again

>Double order of sriracha wings - BBQ wings when they stopped doing sriracha later
>Sometimes some pepperoni dough balls
>Cookies, occasionally B&J ice cream to eat over a few days if they had an uncommon flavour in (One Love etc)

This shit kept me sane when I was working in a shitty job. An order like this on a weekend after finishing at 8pm, then some drinks and online vidya with people was super comfy.
