>its just called crepes in america because they are retarted and dont know difference
American here. We use the word "crepe" to refer to the thin fucking things from France. We use the word "pancake" to refer to the much thicker cake-like food. Every Brit, Aussie, and Canuck knows exactly what I am talking about when I refer to a "pancake", because we all use the same word to refer to the exact same thing. None of them call it an "American pancake" because that would be retarded -- pancakes as we consume them have not originate in America.

>filled with greasy stuff
They're not *filled* with anything. They're thick and fluffy. Like a flat CAKE that you make in a PAN. That's why it's called a PANCAKE.

Pic related is called a pancake (well, actually multiple pancakes). There are no extra words attached to it. It is not called an American pancake because it is not exclusive to the US or the Americas in general, nor has it originated here. It is universally referred to as just "pancake" in the Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the US, because that is the English word which is used to refer to such a food.

The image provided in the OP appears to be a stack of crepes, not pancakes. A crepe is much thinner than a pancake. There is no reason for anyone who is speaking English (and not some inferior Scandinavian language) to use the term pancake to refer to a crepe, except to maybe suggest that crepes are *similar* to pancakes, but much thinner.
