I think an apple cider is best paired with a pork entree, like a good tenderloin or something. Or some kind of less-savoury chicken dish.

Depends on the cider though, I guess. Something like pic related would be better suited with a heavier dish featuring a red-meat, Rekorderlig is absolutely based with seafood, et cetera.
