Way to ruin a perfectly good avocado, you fucking inbred flyover faggot.

Not at all. I cannot stand canned tuna. Neither do I like meatloaf, egg salad, tuna salad, or potato salad.

That concludes the entire list of foods I will politely decline.

How likely is canned tuna going to have botulism? I always boil canned beans etc, but idk what to do with canned tuna that I was given. Is it really okay to eat it straight out?

Looks like a great recipe. I don't trust tuna anymore though, the oceans are too polluted, and the tuna get so big they uptake a lot of it.
I will still eat wild caught salmon, sardines, kippers and mackerel on occasion from anywhere but china or the west coast of the U.S.(without a geiger counter.)
These are pretty damn good substitutes for me. I personally don't like corn, but sub diced sweet onion instead. great for melts too.

I've been eating canned tuna for over 20 years and never had a single instance of issues with the meat. You probably have a better chance of cutting your finger on the lid.

>Food poisoning from properly processed and sealed food
You know people preserve food in mason jars at home, right? And that we've preserved food for centuries by basically just salting it to fuck? As long as you follow a few basic rules, and the food was safe to consume from the start, properly stored cans and jars are shelf stable for years. While the food can still go bad, it is exceedingly uncommon and obvious when you know what to look for. Go...read a book or something.

Recently I made a tuna salads w/onions, garlic, avocado, balsalmic vinegar, salt, pepper, and some other stuff I can't recall, and both times I ended up sleeping for hours and just super tired.

So I decided to just avoid canned tuna for the foreseeable future. This did not happen when I ate really fresh tuna so I don't know what happened.

I wouldn't call it catfood, I love canned tuna but jarred filets are nice. The thing about tuna is, the quality of your tuna highly dictates the outcome of the dish. Tuna is just one of those fish with a heavy flavor so tuna quality really matters but it isn't the end all be all, it's chicken of the sea for a reason. Like cheap chicken is nice but nice chicken is nicer, same with tuna. I love tuna so much it's stupid, I eat in sandwich, poke, sashimi, fried, grilled, cheap, expensive, whatever. Maybe it's the heavy metals that give it extra flavor but fuck tuna is so good.
