Try some real cheese that's aged for a bit. Gouda, for example, really needs at least 4 months.
There's so many varieties to try. Just, don't go for the cheapest stuff. That's bland at best and like rubber at worst. It took me quite a bit of trying to find a tasty sort, and it's even reasonably priced so I don't feel bad when I get some.

Yeah, that's weird. But the texture of mashed potatoes makes me gag so I don't have a leg to stand on. But who gives a fuck, this is now a cheese thread.

My guess is that you have a poor understanding of the variety of cheeses and how aging affects their flavour

but since you've decided you hate all of them .. I can only conclude that you're a giant autistic baby

What is the best cheese and why is it Cranberry Wenslydale?

Fun fact: Wenslydale, Cheddar, and Colby are all made with the exact same ingredients, just slightly different process.
Wenslydale is when it's made normally, Cheddar involves stacking the cheese in an odd way and letting it sit for a while before pressing, and Colby is rinsed with water before it's pressed.

I actually agree with OP.

I like cheese on some foods like burgers or pizza, or in tiny amounts/as garnish in some dishes, but I generally don't like cheese or cheesy foods. I definitely don't eat it by itself.

There are some exceptions (i.e. goat cheese, queso fresco, etc.)

If you claim not to like cheese "by itself" you've just never had good cheese in your life. But there are endless varieties of cheese that all have completely different tastes and textures, I seriously doubt you've tried them all.
