They don’t understand flavor can be enhanced with fat + sour. They just add salt or increase the caloric density with sugar and oil.

This, I find microwaving the best for frozen veggies. I hate boiled veggies so I used to do them on the frying pan with some oil after thawing them. But I got lazy once so I just put them on the microwave with some foil on it and I find it even better.

The only good frozen veggies are peas. Everything else becomes shit when you freeze and thaw it.
Fruit does well frozen, though.

>The only good frozen veggies are peas.

Yeah I use mostly frozen peas. I find frozen champignons the worst but fresh ones take a lot of space on my fridge.

>Everything else becomes shit when you freeze and thaw it.

That's why I microwave it now, without thawing. When you put a plastic foil on the bowl the steam builds up and you're pretty much steaming it. It's obviously worse than fresh stuff but as a lazy poorfag the microwave is a blessing.

Fun fact, you can put any kind of conductive metal in the microwave and it'll act like a conductive shield. As long as it lacks jagged edges or ridges to allow sparks to conduct, it won't be a problem. Many commercial microwaveable meals use metal foil in their packaging to help the dish heat evenly or keep parts from heating as much as others. It's perfectly safe, but microwave manufacturers warn the average person not to try it as they're likely to just tear off a piece of aluminium foil with jagged edges and crumple it over their food, in which case it will spark.
