I've seen a subtle change in can design in the last 6 years.
A lot of can openers that should just fucking work can't quite bite the edge, because the edge has been slightly reduced, possibly to save a tiny amount of material per can, possibly because of a change in the can lining.
Just saying it's not just you, it may be the fucking new and improved cans.
