Whole point is to cook the fucking down on a pan with the skin side down until it's done, then flip it. This way the fucking meat doesn't fall off the skin and the skin becomes this crisp nice thing to eat on top of the well seasoned fish. Also depending on the fish the skin is the tastiest part.

It's weird how you fuckers don't say "scales" at all. Because most fish here have scales too which need to be taken off, which is the hard part. I'm surprised you haven't made a thread asking if you should cook the scales too and eat those.
