Because the only thing they have going for them is "duuuuude, weeeed" variety. The burgers are lower quality than those chains you mentioned, their taco meat is worse than Taco Bell, and as a franchise they're less consistent. You may find the rare gem that handles their shit and always delivers, but for every one of those there's some shithole that'll fuck up every goddamn order and serve hockey puck meet they aren't rotating properly. Or I can go to any McDs and get exactly what I expect.
