Australia used to have the American versions, then a few years ago they opened a factory in malaysia and swapped us to the shitty asian versions.
There's no flavour in the malaysian versions, you get less, and they jacked the price up.

Lots of variety. Cool canister that keeps them from (mostly) breaking. Takes up less space. Doesn't fall over. Don't need a clothes pin. Great way to use potatoes that would otherwise be thrown away. What's not to love? Best I can assume is that the uniformity probably turns people off. It perhaps feels too manufactured. Personally, I think the less food looks like its origin the better. Peeled french fries > skin-on.

Cheddar cheese (which I swear I thought was called cheesums), dill pickle, pizza, and salt & vinegar are the best ones. BBQ is decent, but I really prefer Lay's.

Dorito's have the best ranch chip. Ruffle's has the best cheddar & sour cream and sour cream. Original is boring. Jalapeno is decent. Honey mustard is disgusting. Never had Memphis BBQ or Buffalo Ranch. Chili & Lime is dope, but I know they're going to pull that shit soon so why fall in love?

I don't really know what happened but they became smaller and shittier tasting after some point in the 2000's.

Every once in a while I'll come across a place that sells old style pringles that are still good, so I guess some places might still be making them properly, but still, at this point you may as well get your local grocery stores $1 imitation pringles since they taste exactly the same.

I've noticed the change in flavor as well, but I went to Greece a year or so ago and I swear they had the original Pringles taste to them that I remembered from so many years ago. Try to get some imported if you can.
