Is the level of delusion this high in bongland? Because this is South Korea-tier.

I suppose german bread, black pudding or sausages never existed either.

Traditional british behaviour. As a german I have to say I'm not surprised in the slightest anyone in Europe likes having your spawn visiting their country.

I'll give you black pudding (it's not like blood puddings don't exist literally all over Europe) and I'll even throw in fish & chips (not a British invention). But he's right: they're called Sandwiches, after the Earl of Sandwich. Other sandwich-type things exist, but even in German you call it a Sandwich.

as far as i know every language has a word for it ( in italian it's panino) if the people of that country eat bread as a stample food
american influence may pay a role in this kinda of stuff because for example we in italy used to call hamburger meat "svizzera" and know everybody use the term hamburger

wikipedia says the jews invented the sandwich in ancient times
The ancient Jewish sage Hillel the Elder is said to have wrapped meat from the Paschal lamb and bitter herbs in a soft matzah—flat, unleavened bread—during Passover in the manner of a modern wrap made with flatbread.[10]

you've got down syndrome lad
my point was that if cryspes were the reason for the name, they likely would have held at least some cultural significance. But they don't, which draws the link into question.

since americans call chips french fries, either 'chip' or 'crisp' could be applied to crips. The English didn't have the term french fry, so through chance the names for crisps is different in the UK... or maybe it has nothing to do with what I just said, I don't know. It was just an afterthought.

Further more, dont you think the word "crisp" being applied to crisps probably has something to do with the fact that they are CRISPY you fucking faggot
it certainly makes more sense than linking them to some other unrelated food from hundreds of years prior
