Veggie burgers aren't bad as long as they aren't trying to emulate beef. What makes a veggie burger good enough to eat are great toppings in the bun with them, along with good texture/crispiness. (I have a coworker with a sad little microwaved single pattie on a plate daily for forking down with a diet coke and about 15 cookies on the side, ick).

The mexi black bean ones? Excellent with some lime zest-sour cream topping, maybe some jarred roasted bell pepper, or cooking some squash in the same frying pan (zucchini or eggplant) or a thick layer of avocado, some hot habanero cheese, pickled jalapenos, that kind of thing.

The one worth having often, to me, is the Mediterranean flavor, which is mostly chickpeas and greek herbs. This pattie tastes like a falafel and I might make 2 of them. I go to town making greek yogurt, shredding some cucumbers and garlic, and lemon zest for tzatziki. Sliced ripe tomato, maybe some spinach or lettuce. I might pickle some onions or cabbage.

Do they make other flavors? Dunno, I exclusively buy the chickpea ones, lol. They're good to toast up a random roll from your freezer when you're eating alone.

When I would cook them for someone who didn't wanna do meat, it was always
