It's basically a head of mustard greens.
Chop, saute with onions and carrots, add a dash of vinegar and soy sauce.

Otherwise, some folks take the whole leaves, blanch in boiling water to partly tenderize, fill with meatloaf dough, roll, cover in tomato sauce, and bake until the meatloaf filling is ready.

Slow cooker with corned beef and potatoes. Use the pickling spice in the corned beef. Add pepper salt and a bay leaf. High for an hour, then low heat 5-6 hours. Use gold new potatoes, they won't go to mush. Garlic and onion are optional. No fucking carrot! Ruins corned beef flavor. If the meat doesn't fall off the fork when you try to lift it straight up, it's not done. Some people use porter or ale in the broth. I don't care for it like that though.

google translate recipe because I can't be bothered

1/2 large head of young (green) cabbage or 1 smaller
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 onion
250 g kielbasa
1 carrot
1 and 1/2 cup broth
1/4 cup dry white wine (not necessarily)
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon cumin
1 and 1/2 tablespoons flour
half a bunch of dill

Wash and chop the cabbage. Pour half the oil into a wide pan and fry the diced onion.
Add sausage cut into thin semi-slices and fry together for a while. Add cabbage and peeled and grated carrot. Mix.
Pour broth, wine, season with salt and pepper, add bay leaf and cumin. Stir, cover and boil. Cook covered for about 15 minutes, in the meantime stir 1-2 times.
Fry the flour in a frying pan, when it begins to flush, pour in the oil and mix. Pour the cabbage decoction and mix, transfer to a saucepan with cabbage. Add chopped dill, mix and boil.

Finnish cabbage rolls. The secret is a bit of treacle. Lingonberry or cranberry go well with cabbage rolls. Or you could cut it into thin strips, add carrots, spring onion, pickles, pickled bell pepper, diced olives, salt and pepper, a bit of sugar, dill, oregano, parsley, vinegar and a neutral vegetable oil to it, let that sit over night and you've got a pretty tangy cabbage salad reminiscent of what you'd get at a pizza shop around here.

Put it in the fridge after tossing it for about 1-2 hours for the salt to extract the water from the vegetables. Then u can eat it with rice, mashed potatos etc. literally anything. Its also very filling so be careful how much u eat. Its very good for losing weight as it fills your stomach, and vegetables are the slowest of foods to be processed by ur stomach.

Chop up some bacon, onion garlic and mushroom can also be added if you want

Cut into strips, parboil for 5 mins to soften, drain, run under cold water if you need to wait before using them

Meanwhile fry the other ingredients, add a good wedge of butter, stick the lettuce in, reduce down and serve when r. Add pepper.
I like to also include kale and not really reduce too much since the crunch is nice.
