In case anyone cares the one acre holding in that graphic was designed by a guy named John Seymour who kind of pioneered modern homesteading based on European high farming practices and wrote a hell of a book about how to basically so everything from slaughter a cow, keep bees, make beer, breed horses, make cheese, deal with complications in lamb birth, raise a calf, weave baskets, make pots, weave fabric, pasteurized milk etc. It goes on forever and is fairly definitive.
